...there are really only a handful of triggers that influence whether we drift into “auto-pilot” and choose an OLD habit. However, those same triggers can also be the crossroads where we choose courage over comfort and take hold of a NEW habit.
Important to note, “owning it” does not only have to happen when a mistake is made. You can “own it” when you recognize that a decision you have made will impact someone else.
I think a good question is, "what are your values."
I think the better question is, "are you living out your values?"
Bottom Line - After you identify what values/goals are most important to you, get them on your calendar, then be prepared to cut some other activity out of your life in order to make achieving your values/goals a reality.
You may have the intention of painting the walls in your kitchen. However, without the direction of prying the lid off the paint can and actually painting the walls, all you really have is a garage full of paint cans.
